Frugal Friday: Playdough Recipe

Use this playdough recipe to make perfectly squishy, colorful dough that will keep for a long time in an airtight container and even longer in your refriderator! Using just normal kitchen staples, you'll have some dough for your toddler to squish and play with in no time. The best part is that you know exactly what is in there and if your toddler eats some...that is okay! (Kinda gross, but okay.)

Playdough Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup table salt
1 1/2 cups flour
4 tablespoons olive oil
4 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 cup water
food coloring

Optional: flavor oil for scent - vanilla, peppermint, lemon, orange, almond, cherry (pick ones with no alcohol, and only flavor oils meant for eating, not essential oils.) You can find these in the baking aisle.
